Project Overview
This cover illustration was designed to visually capture the enchanting and mysterious world of Bloodleaf, a young adult fantasy novel centered around royal intrigue, forbidden magic, and self-discovery.
At the heart of the design is the protagonist, Princess Aurelia, rendered in a stylized, ethereal form. The magical elements swirling from her fingertips hint at her hidden powers, setting the tone for the supernatural aspects of the narrative.
The nighttime forest backdrop creates a sense of mystery and danger, reflecting the darker undertones of the story. Deep blues and dark reds were chosen to evoke a moody and magical atmosphere, while the glowing greens of the grass and title text offer contrast and symbolize life and renewal.
Book name font is a original creation designed by me.
